Fashion designer Mona Suri dies in Safdarjung hospital

New Delhi, Oct 21 (UNI) Fashion designer Mona Suri, who was set ablaze by two unidentified men outside her house, today succumbed to her injuries at Safdarjung hospital, hospital sources said.

The sources said Mona, who was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital after sustaining serious burn injuries on August 10, succumbed to her burn injuries at around midnight last night.

Mona had been critical for the last few days, suffering from multiple organ failure, they added.

On August 10, two unidentified assailants set Mona ablaze after pouring kerosene on her outside her home in Greater Kailash.
