TCS net profit jumps to Rs. 1,252 crore

Bangalore, Oct 17 2007 : Indias biggest software exporter, Tata Consultancy Services or TCS registered a growth of 22.86% in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2007.

During the quarter, the company saw a rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 12,516 million from Rs 10,186.80 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The consolidated total income for the quarter climbed 27.72% to Rs 57,618.20 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.
