ICICI to propose $ 2 bn real estate fund

New Delhi, Oct 17 2007: A $2 billion real estate fund, the largest in the country is being proposed by ICICI Venture Funds Management Ltd. The fund will be launched next month.

It will have tenure of ten years and the money will be invested in projects within three years. The fund from the country"s largest private equity fund comes just 18 months after it launched a real estate fund of $500 million.
