Varun Gandhi escapes unhurt in car accident

New Delhi, Oct 20 (UNI) Varun Gandhi, BJP youth leader and son of former Union minister Maneka Gandhi, today had a narrow escape when his car scraped another car at Bharti Nagar in South Delhi tonight, police said.

At around 2200 hrs, Mr Gandhi's car brushed against another car headed in the same direction.

No one was, however, injured in the accident, police added.

The occupants of the other car were briefly detained for questioning.
