UP governor, CM greet people on Vijay Dashmi

Lucknow, Oct 20 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Governor T V Rajeswar and Chief Minister Mayawati today greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Vijay Dashmi and wished them a happy and prosperous life.

In his message, the Governor said the festival gives the message of victory of truth and justice.

He appealed to all sections of the people to observe the festival in a cordial and harmonious atmosphere.

Ms Mayawati has urged them to eradicate the evils from the society.

Meanwhile, Legislative Assembly speaker Sukhdev Rajbhar, Council Chairperson Sukhram Singh Yadav, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, UP Congress unit president Rita Bahuguna Joshi and several state ministers extended their good wishes to the people.
