Sun Pharmaceutical allots equity shares

New Delhi, Oct 20: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd today said its committee of directors (allotment) has allotted 8,64,034 equity shares of Rs 5 each at a premium of Rs 724.30 per share.

The shares have been allotted upon exercise of option of conversion for 14,000 Zero Coupon Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCB) of 1,000 dollars each into equity shares of the company by FCCB holders, a statement said.

The firm's paid up equity share capital has increased from 19,95,25,382 equity shares of Rs 5 each to 20,03,89,416 equity shares of Rs 5 each, as of date.
