JD(U) nominates Ambika Mishra as party women wing general secretary
Patna, Oct 20 (UNI) The JD(U) today nominated Ambika Mishra as the general secretary of the women's wing of the party.
In a release here, JD(U) national president Sharad Yadav said Ms Mishra had been entrusted with the responsibility of the women's wing of the party and hoped she would strive to give a new dimension to the party with her guidance.
Mr Yadav said being the chief editor of the famous Maithlily language magazine ''Koshi Kusum'' and vice-president of the All India Literary Council, Ms Mishra would successfully include many women folk into the party fold.
He said the party would be strengthened under her dynamic leadership as she had been working with several social organisations for many years.
