Indo-China delegates seek peace in Ladakh

Exchanging
greetings,
the
forces
of
India
and
China
joined
hands
in
contributing
to
and
maintaining
peace
in
the
region
in
consonance
with
Border
Peace
and
Tranquility
Agreement,
defence
spokesman
today
said.
The Spokesman said that Indo-Chinese delegation held a meeting at Chushul in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir this afternoon to build the confidence between troops at local level and also to ensure harmony as per 1993 agreement.
The Chinese delegation was received by Brigadier Surinder Singh while colorful cultural item prepared by the troops of Chushul Garrison was also presented during the meet.
However, the friendly interactions between the two border forces have played a significant role in promoting and strengthening bonds of friendship, mutual trust and confidence between the armies, he said.
