2 'ashtadhatu' idols worth Rs 18 cr seized
Barabanki, Oct 20 (UNI) Two 'ashtadhatu' idols, estimated at Rs 18 crore in the market, have been seized from Kursi area here, police said today.
Police Superintendent Sachi Ghalidyal said ''two persons, carrying a bag, were intercepted on account of suspicion late last night.'' The duo, however fled, leaving behind the bag that consisted the idols.
The recovered idols are associated with Jain religion and weigh 13 and 7 kg.
