Wipro Q2 net hikes 13.24 pc to Rs 760.30 cr

Wipro's
net
profit
(standalone)
increased
13.24
per
cent
to
Rs
760.30
crore
for
second
quarter
ended
September,
against
Rs
671.40
crore
on
sequential
basis.
Net sales of the company for the same period rose to Rs 4,150 crore against Rs 3,679.10 crore sequentially, a company statement said.
On consolidated basis, net profit stood at Rs 823.70 crore for July-September period, posting an increase of 18 per cent yearly, while net sales were at Rs 478.47 crore, representing a 35 per cent rise on yearly basis, it added.
The company has declared 100 per cent interim dividend of two rupees per share.
The
company
bagged
several
large
deals
in
the
quarter,
including
one
with
total
contract
value
of
275
million
dollars
and
another
contract
of
160
million
dollars
over
multiple
years.
