Special Lok Adalats for disposal of labour cases

Chandigarh, Oct 19 (UNI) Special Lok Adalats for disposal of labour cases will be held on December 15 in all Industrial Tribunals-cum-Labour Courts in Haryana.

An official spokesman said Haryana State Legal Services Authority said the courts would try to settle maximum number of pending labour cases in these special Lok Adalats.

He said there were nine Industrial Tribunals-cum-Labour Courts at Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Panipat and Rohtak.

All the presiding officers had been directed to dispose of cases under various laws such as payment of wages, minimum wages, national and festival holidays, payment of gratuity, payment of bonus, shops and commercial establishments, equal remuneration and contract labour (R&A) in these Industrial tribunals-cum-Labour Courts, he added.
