The four state-run trading firm -- State Trading Corporation (STC), Minerals and Metals Trading Corporation (MMTC), Projects and Equipment Corporation of India (PEC), and National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) -- have already placed import orders for 38,500 MT of edible oils.
