Brig Gakhal is new Sainik Welfare Director

Chandigarh, Oct 19 (UNI) Brig (Retd) I S Gakhal has today joined as Punjab Director Sainik Welfare, an official release here stated.

After assuming charge Brig Gakhal assured that he would do his utmost to alleviate the problems of ex-servicemen, widows and their wards and ensure their proper rehabilitation.

Meanwhile through an official order the Government has appointed Mr Baldev Singh as Director Horticulture. Mr Singh was earlier working on the post of Joint Director in the same department.
