7 killed, 14 injured in bus-truck collision

Mainpuri, Oct 19 (UNI) Seven people died and 14 others were injured today in a roadways bus-truck collision in Kuravali area here.

According to police, the roadways bus attached to the Auraiyya depot was on way to Delhi from Mainpuri.

Near Kargol, the driver of a truck, plying on the highway, lost control over the vehicle after one of its tyre burst and it collided with the roadways bus.

While, five bus passengers died on the spot, two others later succumbed in hospital.

Two of the 14 injured were said to be critical.
