Work for betterment of humanity: Pratibha Patil

New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil today greeted the people on the occasion of Durga Puja, asking them to dedicate themselves to all causes that are good and noble and work for the betterment of humanity at large.

''On the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja, I extend my warm wishes to everyone for their success, happiness and prosperity,'' Ms Patil said.

The Durga Puja celebration symbolises the triumph of good over evil. ''Let this occasion inspire us to dedicate ourselves'' to working for the humanity, she said.
