Vice President Ansari presented with 'traditional pankha'

New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) Vice President Hamid Ansari was presented a ''traditional Pankha" by the members of the Anjuman Sair-e-Gul-Faroshan, organisers of "Phool Walo Ki Sair" at a function here today.

Many states send their Pankhas in the three-day festival of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood beginning on October 25, 2007.

Addressing the gathering which included several dignitaries, the Vice President said the 'Phool Walo Ki Sair" is a symbol of composite culture of Delhi and its message of peace, unity and prosperity should be spread nationwide.

He wished the festival bring peace, prosperity and happiness in the lives of the people of the country.
