UK funds for MP programme
Bhopal, Oct 18 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government would use about Rs 350 crore worth of financial assistance from the United Kingdom's Department for International Development to link a poor-oriented urban services programme with e-governance, service-providing processes and other schemes, official sources said here today.
Half of the resources would be spent in Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore and Jabalpur. Municipalities' capacity were being enhanced through the medium of the five-year programme began last year.
Participation of non-government organisations and community-based projects would be ensured.
