Three women commit suicide in one day

Sambalpur, Oct 18 (UNI) In a shocking incident, three young married women and a middle aged tribal man have committed suicide at Deogarh sending a shock wave across Orissa.

In all the cases the four persons allegedly committed suicide following family disputes, police said.

Police have identified the deceased as Jyostna Pradhan (24)of Nuagan village, Arati Nayak (35) of Kandhal village, Jhirka Munda (40) of Nilaberni Sahi and Rashmita Rout (18) of Budido.

While the first three were from Deogarh police station area, the last case occurred under Riamal police station.

Deogarh police have registered four unnatural death cases and sent the bodies for post mortem.
