Rupee opens up 39.45/46 against US dollar

Mumbai, Oct 18: The spot rupee today opened up by ten paise against US currency at 39.45/46 per dollar as compared to the previous close of 39.55/56 per dollar.

Rupee headed back towards 9 1/2 year peak today, due to strong capital inflows in an active inter-bank foreign exchange (Forex) market, dealers said.
