Rawat urges Deora for LPG supply to meet shortage

Dehradun, Oct 18 (UNI) Uttarakhand BJP Chief Bacchi Singh Rawat has urged Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Murli Deora to ensure supply of sufficent LPG to the state.

In a letter to Petroleum Minister Murli Deora, Mr Rawat has informed him about the acute shortage of LPG in the state. He has stated that despite bookings the customers were not getting LPGs even after 20 days.

He has reminded the Union Minister about a letter sent to him by his Ministry earlier stating that most of the people in the state depended on LPGs as fire wood was out of reach for them due to the Forest Act. Mr Rawat has urged Mr Deora to ensure suffiient LPG supply to the state, a party release said today.
