Meghalaya CM greets people on Puja

Shillong, Oct 18 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister D D Lapang today conveyed his heartiest greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Durga Puja.

In his message to the people, Mr Lapang said Durga Puja was a symbolic festival of peace, love and triumph of good over evil.

Mr Lapang also hoped that the festival would be celebrated in the true spirit of love, peace and understanding among all communities in the state.

He appealed to the people to extend full cooperation in maintaining a peaceful and cordial atmosphere in the state.
