Light Earthquake hits Delhi, neighbouring areas, no casualties

New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) A light Earthquake, measuring 3.6 on the Richter Scale, today hit Delhi and its neighbouring areas but there were no casualties.

The quake, epicentred at 28.3 Degree N Latitude and 77.6 Degree E Longitude, hit Gautam Budh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh at 1125 hours, the India Meteorological Department said.

No casualities were, however, reported from anywhere, the IMD said.
