Bangalore, Oct 18 (UNI) Encashing on the global India watch strategy by the industrial sector, leading global trade fair organisers Deutsche Messe will be organising a triple extravaganza at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) from December four.

The events CeMat India (intralogistics), Industrial Automation (IA) and MDA (Motor Drive and Automation) has attracted over 500 exhibitors from across the globe. These shows would provide the foreign exhibitors a gateway to India to either secure dealership or scout for joint ventures as the manufacturing sector is witnessing a boom.

Hannover Messe Director (worldwide events) Alexander Kuehnel told newspersons here that the event would be an annual event and Deutsche Messe was in the progress of firming up many shows for the BIEC, with which his Company had tied up a strategic alliance. BIEC, according to him was India's best trade fair venue.

He said plans were also being chalked out to shift some fairs from Hannover. Similar Fairs would also be held in Russia and China.

Mr Chandrajit Banerjee, Chief Operating Officer of BIEC said the Centre built by the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturer's Association was completely booked for next year and steps were being initiated for its expansion as the availability of around 40,000 sq ft (from February 2008) would be insufficient.
