Elephant tramples Coffee Estate labour

Madikeri, Oct 18 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, an estate worker was trampled to death by a rogue elephant while another escaped near Pollibetta recently.

Jenukurubara Ramu (55) and his friend were returning home after visiting a temple nearby on Tuesday when the Pachyderm charged Ramu and lifted him with its trunk and threw him into the air and trampled Ramu to death, while Thammaiah managed to run away with bruises.
