Congress denies Pranab was frisked

New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) The Congress today denied media reports that External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee was frisked at the Moscow airport.

''He was not frisked,'' AICC media department chairman Veerappa Moily told reporters here.

Mr Moily said there was certain confusion which was immediately sorted out by the protocol officers.

According to reports, Mr Mukherjee was subjected to body search at the Moscow airport while he was leaving for home after a brief visit to Russia.
