CM Manik sarkar wishes all a peaceful Puja

Agartala, Oct 18: Wishing all happiness and prosperity on the occasion of Durga Puja and Dussehra, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today appealed to the misguided section of the society to return to the mainstream.

In a message Mr Sarkar urged the people to maintain complete peace and harmony during Durga Puja and carry forward the message of civilisation in future too.

''I believe the occasion will go a long way towards fostering integrity, harmony and peace amongst all,'' the chief minister said adding that Durga Puja, a symbolic festival of peace, love and triumph of good over evils, has a significant message to all. He however, hoped that the festival would be celebrated in the true spirits of love, peace and understanding among all communities in the state.
