Chargesheets filed against 19 in Gir lion poaching case

Junagadh, Gujarat, Oct 18 (UNI) Chargesheets were filed against 19 accused in the Gir lion poaching case at the Una court today.

The 19 accused, including the main accused Circus Lal of Madhya Pradesh, were brought here yesterday from Junagadh jail. The chargesheet was filed in the court of Judge J R Pandit.

A case was filed in the Una court after six lions were poached during the month of March this year.

Bail applications of all the accused were rejected by the local court and the High Court.
