Burglar lynched by villagers

Siddharthnagar, Oct 18 (UNI) A suspected burglar was lynched by villagers in Chinhiya area here this morning.

Police said some burglars had entered a house in Santoshdih village in the early hrs.

However, the people woke up and raised an alarm, prompting the miscreants to flee.

One of them was caught and badly beaten up by the family members and other villagers. He died in hospital.

The deceased was identified as Sugau of village Gaurdih in Mishraulia area.

Investigations were on.
