2 youths held for raping minor dalit girl

Kaithal, Oct 18 (UNI) Police today arrested two youths who had allegedly raped a minor dalit girl in Subash Nagar locality here.

The victim had lodged a complaint with the police that the accused--Baljeet and Naresh--had entered their house by scaling the boundary wall when her parents had gone to see a sick relatives on the night of October 16.

The accused allegedly gagged her mouth with a cloth following which she became unconscious. They raped her and took some cash before fleeing the spot.

Police said the accused were booked under section 376, 457 and 380 IPC and SC/ST Act.
