2 women die of mysterious fever in TN

Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu, Oct 18 (UNI) Two women, including an 18-year-old girl, died of mysterious fever at Gandarvakottai near here.

Police said Sabeena (18), suffering from fever for the last couple of days, was admitted to a private hospital and later referred to Thanjavur Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared her as brought dead last night.

Sabeena's neighbour Aboora Beebi (68) who was also suffering from fever died at her residence this morning.

According to local body sources, several persons were getting treatment at government and private hospitals for similar condition.
