Spirit seized, three arrested in Karnataka

Hubli, Oct 17 (UNI) Police today arrested three persons who were allegedly transporting spirit concealed in photo frame boxes here today.

Hubli-Dharwad twin city Commissioner of Police Narayana Nadumani said that the arrested were supplying the spirit to bootleggers involved in manufacturing illicit liquor in a city area.

He said nine boxes of spirit containing 35 litres each was being transported into the city.
