Man nabbed with 4 kg heroin in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, Oct 17 (UNI) Directorate of Revenue Intelligence today arrested a man after recovering 4 kg heroin from him in village Sherkhan in this border district.

The DRI sources said that on a tip-off, the man identified as Kulwinder Singh, was nabbed when he was carrying the contraband, worth Rs 4 crore, on a tractor.

A case under NDPS Act has been registered against him.

On interrogation, Kulwinder revealed that he had retrieved the heroin packets from Indo-Pak border in the sector, DRI sources said.

UNI
