Interstate robbery syndicate busted, 4 arrested

Mainpuri, Oct 17 (UNI) Police today busted an interstate robbery syndicate and arrested four persons after an encounter here.

Police Superintendent Ashok Kumar said cops arrested Nand Kishore, Rakesh, Mahendra and Kuldeep.

However, three other gang members managed to escape.

The syndicate was active in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Haryana.

Police also seized a car, some firearms and booty from their possession.

These criminals mostly targetted travellers, Mr Kumar informed.

Further investigations were on.
