IICT to impart training on carpet production

Bhadohi, Oct 17 (UNI) Aimed at promoting carpet industry in the country, Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT) has decided to impart carpet production training to workers.

IICT along with Newzealand based-organisation AG Research would help in enhancing the worker's skill through training.

AG Research organiser Dr Arel Wood and IICT Director K K Goswami said, ''Taining on carpet making would help in boosting its production.'' Besides, it would create employment opportunities.

After completion of training, diplomas would be provided to the participants, they noted.
