Group B get back to work in Mizoram

Aizawl, Oct 17:The agitating Group B employees have decided to call off their mass-casual-leave strike after Chief Minister Zoramthanga's promise that his Cabinet would consider their demands. The employees got back to work from today after nearly a month-long strike, which has left a bad impact because government employees could not draw their salaries.

They, however, threatened to go agitate again if the CM's promise was not fulfilled within this month. The employees have been demanding upgradation of their pay scale from Rs 5500 to Rs 6500.
