New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee today called for stern disciplinary action against Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee chief Avtar Singh Makkar allegedly for making blasphemous statements about Guru Nanak.

Addressing a press conference today, DSGMC president Paramjit Singh Sarna accused the SGPC president of getting published a book which claimed Nanak Dev's guru was a Muslim.

Besides, the book, according to the DSGMC, also had articles casting aspersions on the revered Akal Takht. Since the articles about the Akal Takht were unprovoked the SGPC chief had ulterior motives to serve alleged Mr Sarna.

Demanding removal of Avtar Singh, the DSGMC chief alleged that Avtar Singh was suffering from a ''Brahminical mindset''.
