Body found, Jaish ultra arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 17 (UNI) Dead body of a woman was recovered and a Pakistani-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) ultra was arrested in the Kashmir valley overnight.

A spokesman of the Zonal Police Headquarters said Shopian police recovered the body of 58-year-old woman Taja Begum, a resident of Padsoo, falling under Zainpora police station in Pulwama district.

The cause of death was not known yet, he said. However, a case under section 174 CrPC was registered in this regard.

Police arrested a JeM over ground worker, Abdul Majid Chowhan from Dardpora Lolab in frontier Kashmir district of Kupwara today.

Two AK magazines, 20 AK rounds and one UBGL Shell were seized from his possession.
