BJP stages demonstrations against reservation

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 17 (UNI) Members of the Tiruchirapalli District Unit of the Bharathiya Janatha Party (BJP), led by party's State Secretary Ilankumar Sampath, staged a demonstration here today.

Mr Sampath said the demonstration was as part of the state wide agitation in protesting against the Tamil Nadu Government's move to provide exclusive reservation for Muslims and Christians.

Similar demonstrations were also held at Karur, Perambalur and Pudukottai Districts, he said.
