Allahabad Bank Q2 net up 14.16% at Rs 239.78 cr

New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) State-run Allahabad Bank today posted 14.16 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 239.78 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2007 against Rs 210.03 crore over the same period last fiscal.

Its total income has increased from Rs 1242.93 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 to Rs 1664.29 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007, thus registering a 33.90 per cent rise.
