Unrequited love: Man kills beloved; commits suicide

Kanpur, Oct 16 (UNI) A jilted lover today shot dead his beloved before committing suicide when the girl shot down his marriage proposal in this city of Uttar Pradesh.

The incident happened in Harvansh Mohal colony, where Babblu shot his lover dead. Later, he shot himself too. Both died on the spot, police said.

Babblu was seething with rage when the girl refused to marry him, following which he took the extreme step.
