Two women killed for practising witchcraft
Jamshedpur, Oct 16 (UNI) Two women were killed in separate incidents for allegedly practising witch-craft in Kharsawan and Chakradharpur areas in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district.
According to a delayed police report, one Ashok Mahto beat to death his 32-year-old elder sister Purnima at Badabambo village under Kharsawan police station on Saturday night.
He then dumped the body in a well, police said adding that the body had been recovered.
In yet another incident one Parvati Munda killed her 45-year-old aunt by hittin her on the head with an iron rod at Gudasai village under Chakradharpur police station area last Sunday.
Both the accused have been arrested and sent to jail, police added.
