Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu today maintained Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy should agree for a probe by a Supreme Court Judge into the alleged disproportionate assets held by them.

''For an impartial probe, the Chief Minister should write to the Supreme Court as this is a rarest of rare cases fit for probe by the Apex Court,'' he told newspersons here today.

Mr Naidu felt it was not not proper for the Chief Minister to go for an inquiry by a retired judge and get a ''clean chit.'' He reiterated his charge of Dr Reddy amassing through ''wrongful means'' more than Rs one crore per hour.

''First let the Chief Minister write to the Chief Justice. I will follow suit,'' he said dismissing as ''hypothetical question'' whether he was ready for an inquiry by any other judge if the Apex Court turned down the request.

Waving purported copies of documents relating to a company allegedly owned by the Chief Minister's son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, he claimed ''over Rs 400 crore of black money had been turned into white through the tax haven of Mauritius.'' This is only an example of the large scale looting of the state's wealth by the Chief Minister and his family members,'' he charged.

He wanted to know why Dr Reddy had withdrawan a petition against him from the High Court while he was in the Opposition.

''You (Dr Reddy) are in power now. As many as 18 probes have been ordered into the commissions and omissions of the previous TDP Government. But nothing has been proved. You are free to order more probes,'' he added.
