Student commits suicide over ragging

Pratapgarh, Oct 16 (UNI) In another incident of ragging, a student of Polytechnic committed suicide here late last night, police said today.

Amit Kumar Tiwari, first year student of Polytechnic, who hailed from Hanuman Nagar of Unnao district, put an end to his life by consuming poison.

He succumbed on the way to hospital, police added.

The deceased' mother had alleged that his son took the extreme step after being fed up from regular molestation.
