Rs 900 cr scheme for Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana

Jaunpur, Oct 16 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has prepared a Rs 900 crore scheme for the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in the current financial year.

Rural Engineering Service State Minister Rangnath Mishra yesterday said, ''the work under the scheme would be initiated as soon as the proposal is accepted by the central government.'' Besides, a Rs 53 crore scheme is being prepared for development of rural areas in this district.
