Rs 3.25 lakhs looted from a SBI branch

Hazaribagh, Oct 16 (UNI) Five armed miscreants looted about Rs 3.25 lakhs from a State Bank of India branch after injuring the branch manager located in Jharpo area under Ichak police station in the district today.

Police said the motorcycle borne miscreants entered the bank premises and decamped with the cash after taking the employees at gun point.

The bank manager Mr Dipak Kumar Singh got injured after the miscreants fired a bullet, police added.

The manger was rushed to Sadar Hospital.

Raids were being conducted to nab the culprits, police said.
