Rajinder Singh appointed Senior Air Staff Officer

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 16 (UNI) Air Vice Marshal Rajinder Singh assumed charge as Senior Air Staff Officer of Southern Air Command today.

Air Vice Marshal Singh was commissioned into fighter stream of the IAF in December 1974. During a span of 33 years, he had flown over 3100 hrs on various fighter aircraft including Hunter, Marut, MiG-21 and Trainer aircraft Kiran.

He had vast experience in operational flying, training, command and staff appointments. Prior to this appointment, he was Air-1 of South Western Air Command in Gandhinagar, a defence release added.
