MP Cong freezes decision on building

Bhopal, Oct 16 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee has frozen a decision to permit the Jawahar Bhavan Trust to give the local Jawahar Bhavan on rent.

''The step was taken following a complaint that the rent being sought was low,'' Congress state president Subhash Yadav told reporters here today.

The Trust had invited tenders, an Indore firm responded and the Trust Committee decided on Rs 4 lakh as rent. However, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Jamuna Devi and Congress Treasurer Motilal Vora objected in that order.
