Man stabbed to death

Kapurthala, Oct 16 (UNI) A man lost his life while saving an injured man at Sultanpur lodhi in the district today.

According to police, the murderer, Gurcharan Singh, first attacked one Jagjit Singh with a sword and wounded him. When the victim, Nikhil Sachdeva, came to rescue of Jagjit Singh on hearing his cries he was also attacked with sword. Nikhil was immediately rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries Police has registered a case of murder and arrested the accused.
