Man robbed of Rs 2.33 lakh, driver shot at

Jhansi, Oct 16 (UNI) Unidentified armed miscreants robbed of Rs 2.33 lakh from a shoe company agent and shot at the his driver in Babeena area here today.

Ashish Goel, agent of a Kanpur based-shoe company, was intercepted by two motorycle borne miscreants, when he was returning after collecting the due amount.

The driver of his car was, however, shot at and critically injured when he attempted to escape, police said.

The injured had been admitted to hospital and a hunt had been launched to nab the accused launched.
