DMRC appoints Vijay Anand as Delhi Metro Director (Projects)

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) today appointed Mr Vijay Anand as Director (Projects).

Mr Anand was Chief Project Manager in the organisation before taking up the present post.

A civil engineer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) cadre, Mr Anand joined the DMRC in September 2001 and, as Chief Project Manager, was responsible for the planning, designing, execution, monitoring and commissioning of the 20-km long Line-3 of DMRC in a record time of three years from the date of sanction.

He was also responsible for planning and design execution of the Central Secretariat-Badarpur corridor of Phase II.
